Heathrow was the first Master Planned guard gated community in the Markham Woods corridor area. The development of this community began in 1985 and has continued to grow successfully ever since.
Heathrow community consists of approximately 2000 homes with styles ranging from condominium, golf villa, small single family homes, and large estate style custom homes. There are many small neighborhoods within Heathrow and homes of similar styles are grouped into these defined neighborhoods. Within the community there are sidewalks, and a park area.
Heathrow Golf and Country Club is also integrated within the community and home sites. Heathrow Golf and Country Club is private and membership is open to residents and non residents alike. The Club offers tennis, golf, swimming and exercise facility.
Separately gated within Heathrow is Heathrow Woods. Heathrow Woods is the estate section of Heathrow, with one to two acre lots and custom homes.
